On your first visit you will be asked to complete a consultation form. Your responses to questions asked on the consultation form will formulate the basis of a discussion with regard to your presenting signs and symptoms and to plan a strategy for your treatment.

If necessary, observation of your tongue and a pulse diagnosis will be undertaken.   If you are happy to consent to treatment a brief relaxation technique will be followed by the insertion of the acupuncture needles.

To enhance your overall experience, acupressure, light tuina massage, moxibustion, and heat-lamp treatment are also available.

Your treatment session will take approximately 1 hour. 

You should prepare for your acupuncture treatment by ensuring that you have something light to eat before attending, as it is important not to attend on an empty stomach. Please wear loose comfortable clothing that will allow easy access to your limbs.

The Cost

Your Acupuncture treatment will cost €35 per session and is by appointment only.   

It is recommended that a minimum of 4 treatments be undertaken in order to facilitate a comprehensive assessment and an effective treatment strategy.

Ultimately, the number of treatments and the treatment strategy will vary.  They will be tailored to suit the client’s response to the treatment and for the condition being treated.
